Workers will have the ability to set their preferred travel distance directly through the app. This will make it easier for your workers to find jobs that are within their preferred travel distance or be able to change the distance to see if more jobs/shifts are available.
Placement Based Agencies:
On the Jobs Board tab in the app, agencies with location filters enabled will now have workers be able to change their desired distance between their home location and the job location with a slider.
Workers can also set their default distance in their worker profile. In doing so, this will preset the distance filter on the job board so they don’t have to go in for every search and adjust it to their preference.
The distance filter will only apply to full addresses or cities in the location search. This means that if a worker selects only a state for example, California, the search will only return jobs within that state but not outside of it regardless of the distance filter.
Shift Based Agencies:
If your Agency is shift based, the default distance that workers can select in their profile will also affect which shifts they can see. Currently it is set at 50 miles and workers will now be able to adjust it up to 100 miles.
