If your Agency has this feature enabled, you will have the ability to upload worker data into your Agency Portal.
Once you have logged into your Agency Portal, you can access this through your settings page. Go to your profile at the top right hand corner of your screen and select “Settings.”
This functionality is available through three tabs in the menu selection. Upload Files, File Status and History, and Templates.
Upload Files
You will be able to batch upload two options into your Agency Portal, Worker Batch and Shift Batch. You can upload a list of workers as well as a list of jobs. The files can only be in .CSV file format and the maximum file size is 20kb.
Files Status and History
To verify whether the upload was successful or if there are any errors, you can look under the Files Status and History. This will let you know what is specifically wrong with the upload and what needs to be changed.
Templates
Provides a downloadable CSV template example that is required for the upload to work.
Job/Shift Batch Upload
A great functionality to our batch upload feature is that we group shifts that share certain attributes in the same job, making it a lot easier to manage schedules within those jobs.
If the columns for a job's company, location, category, sub category and name all match, we create one job for that information and assign all of the shifts to that one job.
In order for them to be grouped into a single job, all shifts that are supposed to be grouped need to follow in sequence in the .CSV import file.
If an import line has worker information, we will assign a worker to that specific shift. If an import line has no worker information, but a value in the "position" column, we will create an open shift with as many available positions as given in the position column.
