How to Close a Job

If you have a job that is no longer being used and you’re not adding shifts or placements for that job, you can ‘Close’ the job to keep it from being seen or changed in the Active Jobs table. It helps to make everything organized and keep your team focused on the jobs that are ongoing. Once a job is closed, workers will no longer see the job in the Jobs tab in the worker app, or any open shifts from that job in the schedule tab.

Once a job is closed, you can find it by heading to the Closed Jobs tab.

Generally speaking, this feature is more useful for agencies using Placements than Shifts, since they use it to express that the job is filled and is no longer accepting applicants.

For per-diem agencies, you'll be keeping jobs "Active" as long as you expect to continue adding shifts to that job's Schedule.

Once you Close a job, you won't be able to make it Active again. If you'd like to create a similar job, you can Duplicate the job.

Archiving a Job

Once a job is closed, you can also Archive it to further mark the job as not needing your team's attention anymore. If needed, you can Unarchive a job to bring it back to the Closed status.
