Direct Messages

Messages makes it easy to communicate directly and instantly with your candidates.

Direct messages are a one on one communication between you and your candidates. All messages are sent to a candidate directly through the app with a branded notification.

There are three delivery options when sending a message:

  • Chat

  • Chat + SMS

  • Chat + Email

A chat is a direct chat message that the worker will receive through the worker app. With Chat + SMS it gets sent to the candidate via the app but also through text message. With Chat + Email, a direct message is sent to the worker as well as an email.

Regardless of which delivery option you select, a copy of the message will always be sent by chat so there's a historical record of all conversations.

In an open conversation, you'll see an icon next to their name indicating whether the worker has signed up to the app, their phone number, the last time they were active on the app and whether they have notifications enabled or disabled at that time.

πŸ’‘ Tip: If the worker doesn't have the app, was last active over a month ago or has notifications disabled, you may want to send a "Chat + SMS" message to increase the chance of reaching them and getting a response quickly.
